$50K for 50 Years of Philadelphia Rugby Football Club

Join us in celebrating the Club’s 50th Anniversary

For the past five decades, athletes, leaders, and advocates have built a legacy of performance, resilience and community.

We’d like to honor and celebrate all the people who have contributed to our Club’s rich history and raise funds to lay the foundation for the next 50 years of Philly Rugby. Please visit the Zeffy link to learn how you can support: [insert]

Throughout 2026, we will also be hosting events for alumni and active members of the Club to connect. Here’s a look at the schedule of events we have planned.

This page will be updated as we get details confirmed, so please check back for those updates!

FALL 2026 – FRIENDS AND FAMILY DAY

Details about our fall schedule, including league matches, friendlies, and our annual Friends and Family Day, will be shared at a later date! If you missed last year’s announcement, we’ve pivoted to host this event in the fall in hopes that we’ll have more flexibility for scheduling without worrying about playoffs, and experience better weather conditions than the spring.

EARLY 2027 – FORMAL GALA

Our year of celebrations will culminate in our premier event: The 50th Anniversary Gala! We want everyone to have this on their radar now, while we start the planning work. We’ll have a date and location to share soon.

This page will be updated as we get details confirmed, so please check back!

In addition to our community-focused events, we’ll host a series of fundraising initiatives to help us reach our $50,000 goal. These funds will support a full coaching staff for both our Division I and Division III teams over the next 3 years.

As our Division I team competes for a division title and a bid to nationals, maintaining strong, experienced coaching staff is critical to sustaining our competitive edge. At the same time, our Division III program remains deeply committed to developing new and experienced players, and requires coaching support that can meet a wide range of skill levels.
