Coaching Staff

PRFC currently fields competitive Division I and Division III 15's teams. The 15s season spans both the fall and spring, culminating in regional and national championships in May.  The Division I side competes in the DI Mid-Atlantic Conference and the Division III side competes in the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union (EPRU). Philadelphia Rugby is made up of a group of over 60 players with various levels of experience. PRFC aims to support all levels of play and aspirations and now has coaching staff to support these goals. Philadelphia Rugby is now accepting applications for the positions of DIII Head Coach and DI/DIII Assistant Coaches. The positions will be effective Fall 2026. basic requirements

  • USA Rugby Level 200 Coaching Certification, or higher (formerly known as Level 200)

  • Previous coaching experience 

  • Commitment to twice weekly, evening practices in West Philadelphia and Saturday games in Philadelphia and/or throughout the greater Mid-Atlantic region

compensation

Competitive stipend, reimbursement of coach development registration expenses, all team-related travel expenses covered.
